Following the re-fit of the college hall in early 2018 there is now an integrated sound system.
Please note there is no built in video capability in the hall.
The hall is equipped with the following:
- 2 x Sennheiser wireless handheld microphones
- 1 x Sennheiser wireless lapel microphone
- 2 x (???) wired microphones on stands.
Turning on
The sound system should generally be turned on before an event start.
To turn on the hall sound system open the left most cabinet on the dias and press the green master switch labelled power (next to the DM logo).
Wait approximately 1 minute for the system to fully switch on.
The system volumes, etc can be controlled from either the control panel in the dias cupboard or the one to the right of the west door.
Connecting an external device (e.g. phone, ipod, etc).
