As Oxford is a collegiate university, you will have several different usernames and passwords. Some of the most common ones are explained below.
Stands for Single-Sign-On. Is usually of the format worcxxxx where the first 4 letters identify the first university unit you were associated with (e.g. worc for Worcester College) and the last 4 are numbers.
Your main Oxford login account, issued by central IT services.
Expiration of this account will coincide with the expiration of your university card.
Used to access:
Sometimes called your VPN or Eduroam Login.
Setup at https://register.it.ox.ac.uk
Username is in the format worcxxx@ox.ac.uk.
For security reasons the password should be different to your SSO.
For college support and academic staff the username will be in the format: firstnamesurname e.g. fredbloggs. For students it will be the same username as your SSO.
